The longest day.... May 30th

We had a long interesting Saturday. It all started with a ride up Sinks Canyon on the hottest day of year so far. When we reached the campground with the scary bridge, we were all ready to stretch our legs a bit. Seamus proved to be braver than sis when it came to wanting to cross the bridge. He toddled right up the steps. It took awhile for Dad to convince Tally that it wasn't scary. (The Popo Agie was screaming fast!!)

I decide that Seamus probably should not walk across by himself. He sort of agrees with me.

I agree with Tally. It was a little scary.

Look at that brown run-off water! There was so much that not all of it was going into the Sinks; some was flowing in the old river channel.

Whew... we made it.

Tally too! (Gotta love that bike helmet hair.) We crossed the bridge again and got back on the bike (and in the Chariot) and continued to ride up the canyon. After we finally made it to Bruce's, we had some sandwiches and headed back home. It was all down hill and very nice, but very fast. After we got home, we filled the turtle for some water fun.

It was crazy fun!
My beautiful bathing beauties. . .

When Seamus started to shiver, we abandoned the turtle and got ready for Tucker Green's graduation picnic. (She is their babysitter.) It was at North Park and the wind blew and blew and blew. Weird for Lander. Funny though, when we got home things were sunny and calm again.

The day ends with some watermelon. Yumm...

the best!
