Summer Fun!

The summer is going fast,
and so are we!

Hayley turned four in June and we went to Cody to celebrate. Here are the petites riding in the wagon Hayley got for her second birthday. Some toys are timeless.

4th of July

On the fourth of July Shad had a mountain bike race at Grand Targhee. Chris and Madison met us there and we had a great time. Seamus fell asleep on the chairlift ride up. Maybe he should have slept on the ride down as well. He had two shoes at the top of the mountain and only one when we got to the bottom. I am not sure what he is eating in the following picture, but he is darn cute.

For the evening' s entertainment we went to the drive-in movie in Driggs. Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs Of course we had to wait for it to get dark first.

Tally isn't sure about the wait,

but Dad convinces her that a ride on this contraption might be a good way to pass the time.

Belted in and ready to go. It was a wild ride.

Soccer Camp
The following week was Tally's soccer camp. She LOVED it! Now, she teaches Seamus soccer whenever they play in the back yard.

That is some fashion statement.

Coach Paul is the bravest nineteen-year-old I have ever met. Coaching three-year-olds is like herding cats.

Gold Rush Days
That next weekend we headed up to South Pass City for Gold Rush Days.

Seamus checks out the jail.

In jail with Dad

Jeep is more interesting.

Tally tries her hand at bowling.

and dancing, of course.

That night we settled down to sleep in the camper. Or tried to sleep.

He looks so cute and peaceful. Who could imagine that grand screaming fit he would throw in just a few short hours?

And who would imagine "mom,... mom,..... mommy, can I sleep with you?"

Was it because we had the wrong jammies on?
