Halloween 2009

SPOOKY FUN and other fall happenings.... oh, the busy life of Tallulah May and Seamus Ray.

The Halloween fun began with a visit to our local pumpkin patch on October 25th. We had two very busy pumpkin hunters. When it was time to leave, we had two crying children. Dad fixed that when we got home by making special "Jack-o-Tortillas."

The best part was the cheese faces!

Way yummy!

Here they are with some of their finds from the pumpkin patch.
We saved the big ones to carve up for Halloween!

Tally and Seamus gutting a pumpkin the Thursday before Halloween.

We LOVE pumpkin guts!!

Friday, we headed to Casper so that we could spend Halloween with Nana. Halloween Day the "Spooky Witch" and the "Tigger" went trick-or-treating downtown with their best cousin, Madison (who, to Tally's delight, was also a "Spooky Witch").

After some fun trick-or-treating in the wonderful Casper wind, it was lunchtime for Tigger and Spooky. Here, Seamus enjoys a Halloween sucker as an appetizer.

Tally drinks some milk. All that trick-or-treating can make a person thirsty!

Later that night we headed to Aunt Norma's for some more treats!!

Seamus says, "bye."
(But rest assured, he will be back again next year - with a bigger candy bag.)

Earlier this month while Dad was hunting, we shoveled snow!

Tally loved it!

Seamus was not so sure.

But soon, he was running and falling and playing in the fluffy white stuff too.

There is nothing quite like a mouth full of tasty snow.

FIRST HAIRCUTS

OK, so this happened way back in September... the pictures have been trapped in my camera since then. And, of course when Shad empties his camera onto the computer, he never thinks to empty mine too. Oh well, here are the pics of Tally and Seamus' first haircuts. Both had some issues sitting still.

Tally wonders if her new look is right for her.

Seamus' turn.

Here is my handsome little man after the trim. Now, it is looking like it might be time to do it again. The time flies and hair grows.
