Adventures with Hayley C. P-H.

Summer 2008

We had lots of adventures with Hayley this summer. We are so happy that she now lives in Wyoming and not far away in Alaska. And so one summer day two little girls decided to play Queen of the Rock as the sun was sinking down.

Then they took an imaginary baby for a couple spins around the house. At one point, Hayley comes running to the moms. "Tally hurt her foot!" What a great girl, looking out for her younger "cousin". (Tally did hurt her foot, but she survived.)

Here, let me help you with that.

Mom, do I have to carry your beer again??

The next great adventure was the Beartrap Music Festival on Casper Mountain. Here we are having a meeting of the minds while Grandpa and Grammy Hamilton play on the stage.

Seamus and Papa are enjoying the tunes.

Dig those chicks in the hats!!

There is nothing quite like a stick guitar. Pick away girls!

Guarding the cooler is an important job. Who knows when someone will try to steal your lunch (or your beer).

All the excitement has Seamus wiped out, or maybe he is just sick of the "pass the cute baby" game.

Madison and Chris.

Seamus and Mom

Jalan Crossland takes the stage. Finally, we've been waiting for this all day.

Tally rushes the stage. She does this all the time when we see live music. What else would you expect from a girl who saw her first rock show (The Black Crows) when she was four months old?

Now tired, she wants to take a nap with "bugger".

I guess an ear will do if she cannot have the whole "bugger" to latch on to.

November

And then it was fall. We all met in Casper for Madison's big birthday weekend. This day we were at Grandma and Grandpa Pearson's house. There were toys galore!! Kiddy Heaven!!

And coloring books too!!

Oh, we are so cute that we must stick our tongues out because people will admire our silliness.

The girls' feet. Maddy Rae, Tally May, and Hayley Carter

And yes the yearly pic. These are getting harder to do every year. This was a good (and lucky) shot. They are all facing the camera at the same time. ( It seems that Rob always finds a way to get himself into the picture as well.)

It was harder with the moms in the picture (and I only posted three... it seemed like there were a billion attempts at this pic.)

try again

This one might be the best of the bunch- at least the kids are all sort of looking in the same direction. (We all know the moms are probably forever hopeless).

January 2009

Hayley and her family stopped by to see how Tally was doing after she broke her arm. Here, Tally is giving her mom a hug. She can be so sweet sometimes.

Let's build this puzzle.

Seamus, puzzle-builder extraordinaire.

More activities for busy people.

Bye Hayley, and Aunt Tammy and Uncle Rob

We love you!!!
